🗓 Part of the first Austrian Forum for Peace (3–6 July 2023)
As part of the first Austrian Forum for Peace, the Global PeaceTech Hub will host a dedicated session to introduce its mission, approach, and growing network of researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of technology and peace. The session, led by Michele Giovanardi, will present the Global PeaceTech Hub’s work in fostering a transnational governance agenda for emerging technologies in conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and global cooperation.
This inaugural edition of the Austrian Forum for Peace, themed “A Future for Peace: Rethinking our Answers in an Unpredictable Global Landscape,” will gather experts from five continents to explore innovative approaches to peace in the context of geopolitical instability, climate disruption, and digital transformation.
At the closing of the Forum, the Global PeaceTech Hub will participate in the PeaceTech Marketplace, a unique interactive session showcasing global initiatives using technology for peace work. The Marketplace will foster connections, spark collaboration, and promote the visibility of pioneering PeaceTech efforts from around the world.
